Erik Christopher Anderson, 32, died on March 19, 2022 at his home in San Antonio.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1989 in Temple to Michael Leroy Anderson and Deena Lee Braun Weems.
A service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on April 9 at 11 a.m.
Erik grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 2008. He was a member of First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas.
After high school, he moved to San Antonio, where he became a member of the First Street Church of Christ there.
Erik enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing video games and was a collector of turtles.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Daniel Anderson.
Survivors include his mother, Deena Weems (Lyndon); his appointed caregiver, Mary Warren; his father, Michael Anderson (Karen); his brother, Ross Weems (Johnna); nephew, Liam Weems; grandmother, Marsha Schaffer; grandfather, Harold Braun; grandparents, Enrique and Donna Garcia; grandfather, Leroy Anderson; aunts Amy Braun and Russann Hankins (Michael); uncles Danny Garcia (Lisa), Joseph Garcia (Selinda), Jesse Garcia (Betsy) and Ricky Garcia (Crystal); and cousins Brittany Braun, Katlynn Hankins, Jayce Hankins (Haley), Andrea Garcia, Alejandro Garcia, Joseph M. Garcia, Alexis Garcia, Kaylee Garcia, Kianna Garcia, Breena Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Jacob Garcia and Daniel Garcia.
The family requested memorials be made to the Cherokee Home for Children, 13355 Texas Highway 16, Cherokee, TX 76832, or to the charity of one’s choosing.
