Charles Richard Howe, 78, of Kempner died March 15, 2022, at his residence in Kempner.
He was born in La Marque on May 24, 1943, to Hank and Lois (Halliburton) Howe.
Chuck grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1962.
After high school, he joined the U.S. Army. He was placed in the signal corps, and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1966 with the rank of sergeant.
During his time in the military, Chuck earned the Vietnam Service Medal, Good Conduct and Sharp Shooter medals.
