Nancy Lee, 77, of Lampasas died on Feb. 15, 2022.

Visitation was held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Feb. 21, with a rosary following.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Mary Catholic Church on Feb. 22 at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Nancy was born on April 20, 1944, in Lampasas to Herman and Rosa Valadez.

She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lampasas, and her faith was a big part of her life.

Nancy worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at a local nursing home and then went to work at what is now Ajinomoto Foods until she retired. She was the true matriarch of her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Hank Lee, and by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons Bill Lee and Richard Lee; grandchildren Alex Simpson, Brandyn Lee, Marlan Smith, Dylan Turner, Brittany Lee, Delaney Cellitti and Hannah Hays; and greatgranddaughter Lagatha Hays.
