Services set Wednesday for Sue Faulkner

Longtime city attorney Sue Zane McMillin Faulkner died Nov. 13, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. She was 76.

Visitation will be Nov. 16 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lampasas on Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Faulkner was a longtime attorney. She was named city attorney for Lampasas in 1985 – a role she held for more than 30 years – and also served as city prosecutor until she resigned from that position in March 2020.

She also represented Lampasas County on the Board of Trustees of Central Counties Services for 40 years, where she served several terms as chairman of the board. Faulkner was a recipient of the Texas Star Award from the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation for her four decades of service.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Crumley, and an infant brother, William David McMillin.

Survivors include one son, Andrew “Drew” McMillin Faulkner of Houston and wife, Jamie; a sister, Jane McMillin of Lampasas; a grandson, James Lloyd McMillin “Mac” Faulkner of Houston; a niece, Mary Crumley of Leander; and several cousins.
