Alehandro Ayala Loya Jr., 58, of Copperas Cove died at his residence on Oct. 11, 2021.
He was born on March 30, 1963 in Abilene to Alehandro Ayala Loya Sr. and Santos Carrion Loya.
Alehandro and Nina Ramirez were married on April 11, 1981 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lampasas.
Alehandro earned his plumber’s license when he was 18 years old and was a plumber his entire working life.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed good food and staying busy, and liked to be on the go. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove.
Alehandro is survived by his wife, Nina Loya of Copperas Cove; his mother, Santos Loya of Lampasas; three sons, Alex Loya III, Anthony Loya and Andrew Loya, all of Copperas Cove; one daughter, Abigail Diane Lindhorst of Copperas Cove; three brothers, Frank Loya of Copperas Cove, LeeRoy Loya of Lampasas and Ben Loya of Houston; four sisters, Rosita Helms of Killeen, Alice Farmer of Troy, JoAnn Rogers of Lampasas and Ramona Flores of Lockhart; and grandchildren Aliana Loya, Alehandro Laureano Loya, Teighlor Loya, Julian Lindhorst and one granddaughter to be born soon.
He was preceded in death by his father in February 2021.
Visitation was Oct. 18 at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas. Graveside services will be Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Eugene Arellano officiating.
