Steve M. Lopez, 75, of Lampasas died at his residence on Aug. 26, 2021.
He was a lifetime resident of Lampasas, born on Nov. 18, 1945 to Guadalupe Lopez and Nasaria Mejia Lopez.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
During his younger years, Steve had been a laborer. He enjoyed biking, exercising, fishing and dancing. He had served in the National Guard.
He is survived by his brother, Louis M. Lopez of Lampasas; two sisters, Carmen Castaneda of Houston and Carolina L. Lopez Salazar of Lampasas; and by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lupe Lopez, and one sister, Angelina Lopez.
Rosary was recited Sept. 1 at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas.
The funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Sept. 2 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
