Sally Alcaras, 63, of Lampasas died on Aug. 20, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1957 in Lampasas to Louis Garza Sr. and Mary Marez Garza. Sally was a lifetime resident of Lampasas.
She worked as a custodian for different hotels in the area, as well as for the Lampasas Independent School District.
Sally was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lampasas. She loved to read her Bible and to work crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed watching the Lifetime Channel.
Sally is survived by her son, Chris O’Bryan, and wife Isabell of Kempner; his daughter, Lisa O’Bryan of Austin; three brothers, Joe Garza of Lampasas, Mike Garza of Temple and Lonnie Botello of Lampasas; three sisters, Helen Sanchez, of Kingsland, Fannie Garza of Lampasas and Rachel Garza of Copperas Cove; grandchildren Jacquelyn Vix, Lilliana O’Bryan, Anthony O’Bryan and Christina O’Bryan; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary Lou Garza and infant sister Janie Garza; and three brothers, Louis Garza Jr., Richard Garza and Alfredo Garza.
On Aug. 26, visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Ms. Alcaras will be cremated. Heritage Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
