Jack Murton “Midnight Mule” Eubanks, 81, died on Aug. 4, 2021, in Hamilton.
Memorial services will be held at the Barn Church in Hamilton on Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. Jack was born on Nov. 18, 1939, in Fort Stockton to Jack Murton and Annie June (Hutchison) Eubanks Mikeska.
Jack served his country in the National Guard for eight years. He spent the majority of his career as a truck driver but also graduated from TSTC in 1990 with honors and worked as an HVAC technician.
Jack loved God and was a member of Barn Church in Hamilton. He had a sense of humor and was known for his many jokes and sayings. He also was an avid fisherman and enjoyed guitar music, which he was in the process of learning to play.
He loved his fur babies Snickers, Rory and Joey.
Jack was preceded in death by his wives Jean and Lillie Pearl; brothers Michael D. Eubanks and Melvin Dewayne Eubanks; and a granddaughter, Maegan.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Eakin-Eubanks; son, Jack Michael Eubanks and wife, Krystal; daughter, Audrey "Kay" Berry; brothers Junior and Tandy; sister, Lorene; granddaughters Hunter Eubanks and Ashley Berry; and great-grandson, Michael Gagnon.
