Maggie Marie Feild, 89, died on June 24, 2021.
A celebration of her life is planned for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 7 – on what would have been her 90 th birthday – at Collins Rustic Ranch in Lake Victor. Those who attend are asked to dress casually.
Jenkins Funeral Home in Burnet has charge of arrangements.
Maggie was born in Burnet County on Aug. 7, 1931 to Marion and Leta Tumlinson.
She started school at Lake Victor, then graduated from Burnet High School in 1949.
She married Jack Feild on July 15, 1954.
She and Jack enjoyed many fishing trips and fish fries. She loved shopping, eating out and spending time with her family and friends.
Maggie was a member of Oatmeal Church of Christ. She also had been active in the Lake Victor Extension Education Association for 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, and by her son, Jim Feild.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Westphal and husband Larry; grandson, Lee Westphal and wife Kristina; granddaughter, Deidre Ray and husband Joe; great-grandchildren Abby Westphal, Luke Westphal, Evan Ray and Andie Ray; sisters Charles Glenda Ferguson, and Leta Green and husband Glenn; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
