Kyle Andrew O’Bier, 29, of Lampasas died on June 6, 2021 in Austin.
He was born on Oct. 6, 1991, in Channelview to Barry and Gail (Samoheyl) O’Bier. He had lived in Lampasas for the past 17 years, moving here with his family from Highlands, Texas.
Kyle had worked several positions, the last being as a forklift driver for a boat company in Austin. He loved to fish and enjoyed scuba diving with his family in Mexico. Kyle was especially passionate about traveling.
He was a non-denominational Christian.
Kyle was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his parents and one sister, Elizabeth O’Bier, all of Lampasas, and one brother, Davin O’Bier of Cypress; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Shelbea Samoheyl of Houston, and Jerry and Mary Morton of Lufkin; and one niece, Evee Grace O’Bier of Austin.
He leaves behind his dog Pookie.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lampasas Animal Shelter at 301 College St.
