Storms possible tonight and Tuesday

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Lampasas County on Monday evening.

The outlook was issued Monday at 2:27 p.m. and includes Lampasas, Coryell, Bell, Hamilton and surrounding counties.

“A conditional threat of isolated severe thunderstorms exists this afternoon mainly across western Central Texas. If storms develop, large hail and damaging winds would be the primary threats,” the outlook read.

Storm chances increase tomorrow.

“Thunderstorm chances are greater Tuesday evening and night, primarily along and east of the I-35 corridor. All modes of severe weather will be possible,” NWS officials said.
