A fire Wednesday about 12:30 p.m. destroyed a structure off FM 2657, near FM 3046. The Lampasas Fire Department, Kempner Volunteer Fire Department, Copperas Cove Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance Service responded.
Commenting about the fire, one man said he heard a "bang" two miles away at his shop. Another witness who was at the gas station nearby also told the Dispatch Record they heard a loud crashing sound.
The Dispatch Record will seek more details about the fire.
