The Lady Badger basketball team played a thriller last Friday night against the Lady Mustangs of Marble Falls.The team won 40-38 in double overtime with a big fourth-quarter comeback after trailing the entire game.

Giving up 31 total points, including putting up a zero in the second quarter, is almost always a formula that adds up to a win, and it did exactly that Friday night for Badger basketball.Lampasas picked up a 4531 victory at home over the Marble Falls Mustangs to move to 7-1 in district play.

Last week, the Lampasas boys’ and girls’ powerlifting teams competed in Burnet to open their seasons.The Lady Badgers fielded 12 lifters, and they finished as the first-place team out of seven schools that competed.
