Friday night brought another chance for the Badger baseball team to continue its winning ways when they hosted the Jarrell Cougars. Lampasas did exactly that with a dominant 10-0 win over five innings.J.T. Posten got the start on the mound.

Soccer team loses in bi-district playoff round

The Lampasas soccer team took on Life Waxahachie in the bidistrict round of the playoffs last Thursday and lost 6-0 to a very talented team.The Badgers had a high-danger chance early in the game that didn’t quite fall right for Chris Mendoza.

Personal records set at state meet by Lampasas lifters

This past weekend, four Lampasas powerlifters competed at the state powerlifting meet in Abilene.None of them finished in the top five to medal, but there were several personal records and school records broken.

Badgers dominate Jarrell to continue winning ways

A 9-0 shutout win over the Jarrell Cougars means the Badger baseball team has moved to 3-0 in district play.Lampasas plated two runs in the first inning off a Peyton Sisson triple and a Timber Gholson sacrifice fly, and they didn’t look back from that point.

Lampasas middle school track teams win Academy meet

The middle school track teams all finished in first place at Monday’s meet in Academy.These teams have dominated at each meet they attend, and they will look to continue that trend at their home track next Wednesday.Individual results follow.

Softball team struggles at home against Gateway

On Tuesday night, the Lady Badger softball team ran into a buzzsaw with the Gateway Lady Gators, losing 19-0 in six innings.Lampasas mustered only two hits in the game against Gateway starter Chloe Ellis.
