Basketball team finishes summer action with Georgetown tournament

A single-elimination tournament hosted at Georgetown High School marked the end of the summer basketball season for the Lampasas Badgers. They played two games, beating Burnet 37-32 and then coming up short against Georgetown East View at 35-29.

Summer swim camp held in Lampasas last three weeks

The annual Summer Swim Camp Lampasas was held from Tuesday through Thursday for three weeks from May 27 through June 12.According to swim camp organizer Kristi Allison, there were two age groups: those 6 to 10 years old, and those from 11-18.

Several tournaments fill out summer schedule at Hancock Park course

Throughout the remainder of the summer, several different tournaments and events will be hosted at Hancock Park Golf Course.The calendar starts with an event this weekend, the “Show Me the Money” shootout and tournament that is played today through Sunday.
