Tennis remains unbeaten in district play

The tennis team traveled to Glen Rose this week for its third district match of the fall season. This outing went much smoother for Lampasas than the last one against Brownwood. A quicker start in doubles and a dominant singles session saw the Badgers earn a 14-5 team win over the Tigers.

Lady Hornets pick up first win in volleyball program history

Lometa’s volleyball team, believed to be the first assembled in the school district, won its first match of the season Saturday. The Lady Hornets took a 3-1 win over the Mullin Bulldogs. “We’re just so excited for the kids,” coach Austin Martin said about the team’s accomplishment.

The Lady Badgers lost in three sets Tuesday night to the Burnet Lady Bulldogs and moved to 0-2 in district play so far. The girls got off to a slow start and lost the first two sets.
