Badgers take down the Ducks at home, move to 2-0 in district

Another strong defensive performance by the Badgers helped them on their way to a dominant 42-13 win over the Taylor Ducks Friday night at Badger Field. Both teams turned the ball over, but the Badgers were able to capitalize on the Ducks mistakes. The win puts the Badgers at 2-0 in district play.

Badgers look to continue winning ways against Taylor in week two

The Badgers will be back at home tonight as the Taylor Ducks waddle into town. This is the first of just two home district games this season for Lampasas. The Ducks hold a record of 3-3 (0-1) after a tough 32-29 loss to Davenport last Friday.

Boys’ cross country team, one girl runner qualify for regional meet

The Lampasas cross country team has some regional qualifiers going to Huntsville in two weeks after solid placements at the district meet Monday morning in Marble Falls. The varsity boys finished in third place, beating Georgetown Gateway by eight points to secure the final spot for regionals.

Badgers use dominant second half to start district 1-0

The Badgers outscored the Burnet Bulldogs 21-7 in the second half of Friday’s district opener on the road to win 24-7. Things started slowly for both teams.

Lampasas tennis competing in bidistrict round today

The tennis team is traveling to Glen Rose today to play Krum in the bidistrict round of the playoffs after falling just short of the district championship last week. The matches will start at 9:30 a.m., and both teams will be playing to keep their seasons alive.

Hornets struggle against elite Jonesboro

Lady Badgers win back-to-back district games; move into playoff hunt

The Lampasas Lady Badgers beat Marble Falls to continue their winning ways from last Tuesday. They have moved to 2-3 in district competition and put themselves in sole possession of fourth place for the final volleyball playoff spot.

Junior varsity, freshman teams get back to winning ways in district play

The freshman Badgers improved their record to 5-1, (1-0) with a 2716 district win over the Burnet Bulldogs last Thursday. The Badger offense started the game with an 8-minute drive that ended with an 18-yard touchdown pass from Calum Mitchell to Carter Toups, coach Chance Evans reported.
