Boys’ soccer loses on penalties against China Spring

The Badger soccer team traveled to China Spring Tuesday for a district match. Lampasas got out in front and was leading 2-1 in the second half, but the Badgers’ complacency caught up to them. They conceded a goal to tie the game, according to head coach Samuel Burnside.

Badgers give up lead late in loss to Copperas Cove

The Badgers carried a nohitter and a 2-0 lead into the sixth inning of their Monday night game against the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs. After two outs in the sixth inning, an error and a few Copperas Cove hits led to four runs, and Lampasas trailed 4-2.

Girls’ soccer unable to get over the hump in close loss to Gatesville

The Lady Badgers once again came up just short in a tough loss to the Gatesville Lady Hornets at home. They fell 2-0 but had plenty of chances. The ball just would not get over the line.
