Badgers win over Lago Vista; remain on verge of playoffs

The Badger basketball team needed to end a twogame losing skid when the Lago Vista Vikings came to town last Friday to put themselves in a solid position to compete in the playoffs. They did just that with a fourth-quarter comeback win 58-49.

Jarrell gets the better of Badgers; playoff spot on the line tonight

The Badger basketball team played host to Jarrell on Tuesday in a game that could have cemented Lampasas’ position in the playoffs. The first time these two teams met this season, it was a low-scoring affair the Badgers won 48-46. But the story was pretty different the second time around.

Lady Badgers narrowly lose to Jarrell; postseason next

The Lady Badger basketball team has made huge strides throughout the season. That growth was on display in the final two games of the regular season when the Lady Badgers beat Marble Falls and then fell 60-57 to Jarrell, which had beaten them by 29 points in the first meeting between the two teams.

Baseball, softball seasons underway as teams chase the postseason

The hint of spring on the horizon brings many things like warmer weather, clear skies and, some may say most importantly, the beginning of baseball and softball season. The Badgers and Lady Badgers have begun their seasons with scrimmages, and the regular season is just around the corner.
