Badgers lose to Gateway; three games left in district play

The Badger basketball team hit the road last Friday night for a second matchup with the Georgetown Gateway Gators, a team that beat them earlier this season in the Badger Den.
This game didn’t go the Badgers’ way either, as they lost 89-75.

Middle school basketball teams battle with Burnet, winning five of eight

To round out the regular season, both the Lampasas Middle School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams took on Burnet last week. They finished the same way they spent most of the season: by winning most of the games they played on a given night.

Lampasas soccer teams split games against China Spring

The soccer teams went 1-1 in their two games against China Spring last Friday night – one played at home and one on the road.
The Lady Badger soccer team played its first official home game of the season Friday when the girls hosted the China Spring Lady Cougars.

Overtime needed, as Badgers topple the Mustangs on the road

In a low-scoring affair, the Badgers and Mustangs were locked at 40 points each when the fourth quarter ended Tuesday night, after a near miss by Tidus Willie of Marble Falls at the buzzer.
The Badgers came out hot to start overtime, and they took a 44-40 lead.
