Five Lady Badger lifters heading to state meet

Lampasas girls’ powerlifters traveled to Dublin last week for the regional powerlifting meet and had a lot of success. Five of the lifters did enough to qualify for the state meet March 20 in Edinburg.

Baseball team beats Copperas Cove in 11 innings

On Monday, the Badger baseball team scored four runs in the top of the 11th inning to beat the Copperas Cove Bulldogs 7-3.In the final inning, Drew Davis led off with a double. He was followed by Calvin Phelps and Kade Landry who both drew walks.

The official All-District awards for the Lady Badger basketball district have been announced, and multiple players were named in the awards.The entire varsity team received Academic All-District recognition to honor their work in the classroom along with their efforts on the court.

Softball thumps Llano in five innings

The Lady Badger softball team continued its dominant offense, as the girls put up 16 runs in five innings to beat Llano 16-0 on Monday.Freshman Gia Grasso drove in five runs on three hits to lead the Lady Badgers. She homered in the second inning, driving in two runs.
