Peyton Spore has been an integral part of the Badger golf team during his time in high school, and now he is heading to Howard Payne University to continue his athletic and academic careers.

Middle school tennis team named district champions

Last weekend, the Lampasas Middle School tennis team competed in the district tournament and emerged as the district champions.“Everyone played so good Saturday,” coach Laina White said.

Boys’ middle school golf team wins district tournament

Last week, the Lampasas Middle School golf team won the district tournament with a total score of 182.The boys beat Marble Falls, Lago Vista, Jarrell, Salado and Burnet. Lago Vista placed second with a score of 186, and Marble Falls claimed third place at 187.

Lady Badger soccer all-district awards announced

The Lady Badger soccer team received several All-District recognitions for the season. Most notably, Kaira Toeaina garnered the Goalkeeper of the Year award for the district.Toeaina and Kailyn Cisneros were named to the first team All-District.

On April 26, the Lampasas Middle School Lady Badger soccer team played Gateway’s “A” team and came away with a 3-0 win.“They were a strong opponent who are always well coached,” coach Nathaniel Brayton said of Gateway.Goal scorers for Lampasas were Makenzie Shaughnessy with two and Valle Bales.
