Artie Mae (Chamberlain) Moore was born to William Homer Chamberlain and Norine Gertrude (Stewart) Chamberlain on July 29, 1926, in Lohn, McCulloch County, Texas. She died on June 21, 2024, in Lampasas at the age of 97 years and 10 months.

Funeral set Saturday for longtime appraiser Bumpus

Longtime businessman and real estate appraiser John Robert Bumpus, 79, died on July 2, 2024.Visitation will be held July 6 at First Baptist Church from 1-2 p.m., with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. Dr. Mark Bumpus, his brother, will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

DEATHSMargaret Ann Kirby O’Neal died on June 25, 2024, at Lampasas Assisted Living.She was born on Sept. 5, 1937 to Tommie F. and Lois Patterson Kirby.Margaret was a lifelong resident of Lampasas. She graduated from Lampasas High School, Class of 1956.
