Most cities reflect sales tax gains for June

After a first quarter in which sales tax revenues were down all three months for the city of Lampasas, the second quarter of 2026 has been much more positive.In April, May and June, the rebates for Lampasas have reflected gains of 14%, 10% and 3%, respectively.

TPWD outlines plans for Post Oak Ridge

At public meetings in Burnet and Waco held June 3-4, Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife staff outlined updated plans for the development of Post Oak Ridge State Park.

WATER QUALITY TOWN HALL The city of Lampasas will hold a town hall meeting on water quality and capacity Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the former middle school cafeteria, 103 N. Western Ave.

Kempner adopts fees to reserve facilities at municipal park

With demand growing to utilize Sylvia Tucker Memorial Park, Kempner City Council members approved a new fee structure for those who wish to reserve spaces in the park. The action came during Tuesday’s regular council meeting.
