Lampasas ISD eyes balanced budget for 2026-27

With more than $750,000 in cuts through attrition, Lampasas ISD hopes its new fiscal-year budget looks more balanced than the one school board members approved in August.Last year, the Lampasas Independent School District Board of Trustees adopted its 2025-2026 FY budget with a $3 million deficit.

Electric superintendent enjoying new role with city

The Electric Department for the city of Lampasas named a new superintendent in January. Micah Harry has been in the position for the past six months or so after being employed with the city for the last 12 years.
