Lampasas sales tax rebate down to start 2026

The January sales tax rebate for the city of Lampasas fell $1,370 short of what it collected to start the previous year. That marks a dip of just under 1% from January 2025.

The Lower Colorado River Authority is accepting applications this month for community grants for projects such as improvements to fire stations, community centers, sports fields, libraries and other facilities as well as providing updated gear and equipment for emergency responders.
