Greg Abbott joined a group of sportsmen, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department personnel, and state officials Friday at the new Post Oak Ridge State Park in Lampasas County. Abbott thanked voters and the Texas Legislature for creating the $1 billion Centennial Parks Fund so Texas families can have expanded offerings to experience the outdoors.
