Lampasas stylist offers her clients TLC at home

Becky Linville, a long-time local hair stylist, is taking her salon to homebound senior members in the community. Linville has worked as a stylist for 26 years. She has been at Wild Hearts Salon and Boutique for about three years.

Reading with furry friends

For the first time, Lampasas Animal Shelter is partnering with the Lampasas Public Library for a summer reading program. Children 5 to 13 years old, along with a parent or guardian, will be able to visit the shelter this summer and read to one of the animals.

Fire burns east Lampasas house to rubble

The Lampasas Fire Department responded to the site of an uninhabited, single-story residence devoured by flames early Friday morning. The fire department received a call at 6:27 a.m. about the structure fire at 721 Brown St. First responders arrived on the scene five minutes later.

Lonestar Social Services contract terminated

Army veteran nears end of 1,000-mile journey to assist homeless servicemembers

An Army veteran has been traveling around the state on horseback in an effort to raise awareness about the plight of homeless veterans. His journey has created numerous connections throughout Texas. Jeremy Robinson spent seven years in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2009.
