A win and a second-place finish highlight golf team’s early tournaments

The Lampasas golf teams have played in two tournaments so far this fall season. On Sept. 22-23, the Badger golf teams competed in the Glen Rose Invitational at Squaw Valley. The Lady Badgers finished second in the seven-team field with scores of 315-331.

Lometa gets off to a difficult start in district play

District play saw a tough start for the Lometa Hornets on Friday, as the team lost 74-28 at the hands of the Jonesboro Eagles. Despite an even turnover battle, Lometa was unable to maintain offensive consistency, resulting in the lopsided final score.
