A boil water notice issued on Tuesday night was rescinded on Thursday morning. At 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, the city of Lampasas issued a boil water notice for residents west of Key Avenue due to a break discovered in a mainline near the intersection of West Fourth Street and Willis Street. At 8:18 p.m.

Bridge players take home prizes

Five tables of players competed recently for prizes at the Community Bridge gathering. Mary Lou Laird had the highest score, Christine Vann was second, and Michelle Brown took third. Tom Casbeer and Jim Hutchinson had the highest single round, and Martha Casbeer took low for the day.
