The Texas Department of Transportation is launching its “Drive Sober. No Regrets” holiday drunk driving prevention campaign.
According to TxDOT, a total of 1,246 people were killed last year in Texas by drunk drivers. In December alone, 229 people were seriously injured in driving-under-the influence-related crashes across the state.
