Hanna Springs Elementary crowned champs in fire prevention flag-design contest

Hanna Springs Elementary School fifth-graders earned the top prize from the Lampasas Fire Department in its flag contest for National Fire Prevention Week, which was held in October.

Creating Badger Builders seeks donations for March fundraiser

A nonprofit organization that teaches local students homebuilding skills is seeking donation items for a live and silent auction event set for late March. Officials with Creating Badger Builders have announced their second annual dinner and fundraiser event will be held March 23 from 4-10 p.m.

Casino Night tickets available for February fundraiser event

Tickets are available now for Wild West Casino Night, set for Feb. 17 at the Lampasas County Show Barn, 283 North U.S. Highway 183. Included are dinner, gambling chips and a chance to win $1,000. Casino Night benefits Vision Lampasas, Lampasas Lions Club and Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce.
