LISD eyes ways to keep extra academic staff

Lampasas Independent School District is looking at ways to hold onto added instructional staff that were hired with federal funds during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The city of Lampasas has begun its spring brush-chipping service. From March 11-15, brush chipping will be available curbside on the southwest side of town – for those who live south of First Street and west of Key Avenue.The southeast quadrant will be serviced next week.

Career day at Hanna Springs campus

Hanna Springs Elementary School students enjoyed spending time in a Lampasas Police Department vehicle during last Thursday’s career day. More than 17 different professionals were available to chat with all grade levels.
