Construction continues along Business 281

The Texas Department of Transportation has closed Business 281 over Sulphur Creek as it reconstructs the U.S. Highway 281 intersection near the Hostess House. Work is expected to continue through July.

KWSC notifies of pressure loss

On Tuesday at about 8:30 a.m., Kempner Water Supply Corporation alerted members of a pressure loss issue affecting the north side of the water system. The cause of the loss in pressure is currently unknown, KWSC officials said.

Clothing drive underway

Saratoga Masonic Lodge #546 is holding a clothing drive from now through Sept. 20 to collect new or gently used clothing. Donations will be given to Shared Blessings at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lampasas.All clothing should be clean when donated.
