Millican takes GOP nod for county judge

A total of 5,316 Lampasas County residents -- 30.93% of the county’s 17,188 registered voters -- participated in Tuesday’s 2026 Republican Party and Democratic Party Primary elections.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIMEThe move to daylight saving time will begin Sunday at 2 a.m. Residents are encouraged to move their clocks ahead one hour prior to this change.Daylight saving time will remain in effect until November, when Texas once again returns to Central Standard Time.

Alot of people — Baby Boomers — bemoan the fact that we don’t still live in the 1960s. Many claim to want to go back to those times. Socially and politically, this is touted as a way to slide back into the good old days, when everything was great.

Medical facility holds ribbon-cutting event

U.S. Dermatology Partners has celebrated its new location in Lampasas with a recent ribboncutting event. The office at 207 West Avenue E is headed by physician assistant Keven Faust and provides comprehensive services for patients of all ages to address a wide range of skin conditions.
