Water system exceeds maximum contaminants for another quarter

Boots & Blazers Ball celebrates the world of art

Hanna Springs Sculpture Garden at Campbell Park hosted the 2024 Boots & Blazers Ball under the stars Saturday evening. Numerous art pieces were on display and available for bidding. The annual LAFTA fundraiser offered a catered dinner, live and silent auctions, followed by entertainment and dancing.

A cannonball safe used at First Texas Bank in the early years of the institution sits at the Lampasas County Museum. Range Tour planned at Motl Ranch

The 2024 Lampasas & Mills County Range Tour will be offered at the Motl Ranch outside of Lampasas on Oct. 28. The ranch address is 8218 County Road 1255.Registration at the gate begins at 8:30 a.m., with the program to extend from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $20.
