Bake sale, decorated trees planned at museum

The Lampasas County Bake Sale and the Christmas Tree and Gingerbread House contest displays will be available at the Lampasas County Museum on Western Street during the Carol of Lights Festival on Dec. 7.

Texas Attorney General recognizes National Adoption Month

In recognition of National Adoption Month, Attorney General Ken Paxton is encouraging Texans to purchase the “Support Adoption” license plate that funds the “Support Adoption” Grant Program administered by the Office of the Attorney General.

Lampasas County grand jury convened last week to continue the July term.

DISTRICT COURT

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings.Defendant Kyle Eugene Wessling of Copperas Cove entered a plea of guilty to a charge of forgery of a financial instrument greater than or equal to $2,500 and less than $30,000.
