Bumpas relishes new role as ag teacher, FFA adviser

Lampasas High School agriscience teacher and FFA adviser Sara Bumpas feels at home in her new role.Previously, she served as a paraprofessional at Hanna Springs Elementary School for four years, before shifting to LHS at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year.

Flower of Month club a new feature

Lampasas High School’s agricultural sciences floral department has a new project this year, and it has been highly successful. The Flower of the Month club was developed by Advanced Floral Design instructor Kirby Kennedy-Phillips.

FFA students -- and their animals -- like the new ag barn pens

The new Ag Barn, constructed through funding provided by the Lampasas County Livestock Association and its annual Reverse Raffle, has provided a home for show animals owned by students throughout Lampasas County.
