Chief appraiser addresses budget amendments

Prior to a meeting scheduled for Thursday evening, Lampasas Central Appraisal District Chief Appraiser Juan Saucedo provided a summary of proposed budgetary amendments for the district in 2025. The LCAD board of directors will hold a meeting on Thursday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m.

New non-profit to aid Lampasas Animal Shelter

A new local non-profit organization is ready to support the Lampasas Animal Shelter and its needs.S.A.F.E. Lampasas -- which stands for Supporting Animals, Facilities and Employees of the Lampasas Animal Shelter -- received its 501(c)(3) status earlier this month and has begun operations.

Lampasas traveled to Fredericksburg last Saturday for a track meet and saw several high finishers and competitors who received medals.Aaron Everts starts off the varsity boys’ results in the best way possible with a first-place finish in the 100-meter dash. His time was 10.96 seconds.
