Sales tax receipts dip again for Lampasas

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar has announced the June sales tax allocations for cities, counties and special purpose districts that collect a local levy. These allocations are based on sales made in April by businesses that report tax monthly to the state.

Several hundred gather for meeting on transmission line project

A public meeting regarding a possible electric transmission line project that could affect Lampasas and surrounding counties drew hundreds of concerned residents to the old middle school cafeteria Tuesday night.
