LHS law enforcement teams find success at regionals

Lampasas High School students in EMT, law enforcement and firefighting teams competed at the Texas Public Service Teachers Association Region 3 competition Dec. 9 in San Antonio. LHS students excelled at the event, with three teams and two individuals earning first-place honors.

Annual drive to benefit area children

Benton Chiropractic Clinic held its 24th annual toy drive on Dec. 5. On that day, Dr. Craig Benton exchanged a toy for a chiropractic treatment. The toys are given to the Lampasas Volunteer Fire Department, which distributes them to children in need in the community.

19 Badger Band members qualify for All-Region recognition

Members of the Lampasas High School Badger Band competed in All-Region auditions at Fredericksburg High School on Saturday. A total of 19 LHS students earned the All-Region title, with 10 of those advancing to area competitions after the Christmas break.
