Lampasas lineman aides those affected by hurricanes in Southeast

Lampasas resident Armando Rosales worked in Georgia and Florida in October to restore power for many communities affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.Although the work can be grueling, Rosales knows fellow Americans are counting on him and his peers for essential services.

The annual Carol of Lights festival and Holidazzle Christmas Parade are right around the corner, Lampasas!The event is set for Dec. 7, and the festivities will take place all day long around the courthouse square, hosted by Vision Lampasas.

Community Bridge plans special lunch for December gathering

Four veterans were among the bridge players at Community Bridge on Nov. 11. Five tables competed for the prizes, with Sharon Newsom taking first place; Jim Hutchinson, second; and Linda Williams, third. Jim Hutchinson and Linda Williams also won the prize for the high round.

Toy Run seeking volunteers

The 32nd Annual TriCounty Toy Run of Central Texas is scheduled for Dec. 1.Event organizers are seeking volunteers to run the event. The toy run is the longest-running event of its kind in Texas. Proceeds benefit children across the area.
