The Badger varsity powerlifting team extended a regular-season winning streak that started in February 2017 with a first-place finish at home Thursday. Individual gold medalists included Preston Fox, Kyle Arriola and Rudy Esparza.

Whitney Doyen was promoted from within the Lampasas High School staff to head volleyball coach.
The announcement was made this week. 
Doyen has served as assistant basketball and softball coach this season after being hired last spring.
