Burnet won 9-0 against the Lady Badger varsity soccer team Friday night. The match concludes the first round of district play. “We had a few opportunities to get in past their defense but were unsuccessful in putting one in the back of the net...,” coach Kiff Wiemers said.

Liberty Hill, the topranked girls’ team in Conference 4A, was eliminated from the playoffs by Houston Wheatley. With all teams in Lampasas’ district eliminated, the all-district list was announced. The following Lady Badgers were recognized: Jelecia Magee, Newcomer of the Year
