JV softball moves to 5-0 in district

The Lady Badger junior varsity softball team beat Gatesville 7-5 on the road Friday to stay unbeaten through five district games. Lampasas will host Brownwood for a JV game April 13 at 5 p.m.

Gatesville tops LHS to even season series

On Friday at Gatesville, the Lady Badger varsity came back to tie the score twice before the Lady Hornets prevailed 8-7 in a district rematch. Lampasas scored two runs in the top of the first but Gatesville answered with a five-run bottom of the inning and did not trail again.
