The Lady Badger junior varsity softball team beat Gatesville 7-5 on the road Friday to stay unbeaten through five district games. Lampasas will host Brownwood for a JV game April 13 at 5 p.m.

On Friday at Gatesville, the Lady Badger varsity came back to tie the score twice before the Lady Hornets prevailed 8-7 in a district rematch. Lampasas scored two runs in the top of the first but Gatesville answered with a five-run bottom of the inning and did not trail again.

The Badgers and Lady Badgers held their only home tournament of the middle school tennis season on Saturday. Full results were not available at press time, but some of the top finishers for LMS are listed below.
