Lampasas ISD Athletics invites all incoming seventh- through 12-grade Badger and Lady Badger athletes to the 2021 Speed, Weights and Agility Training (SWAT). The summer conditioning program will be held at Lampasas High School from 8-10 a.m. four days a week, beginning June 1.
Athletic physicals will be offered May 13 at Lampasas High School from 8 a.m. to noon at the fieldhouse, and on May 18 at Lampasas Middle School from 9 a.m.
In the last warm-up game before this week’s baseball playoffs, the Badgers lost 14- 10 to Conference 6A Harker Heights. Lampasas (12-16-1) has averaged more than 13 hits per game over the past three games, including the 14 against the Knights on Monday.
Rachel Myles was named the LHS girls’ basketball Battlin’ Badger. The team’s banquet was held Monday. This season was the Lady Badgers’ fourth in a row to reach the playoffs, and coach Mark Myers earned his 900th career win. FILE PHOTO
