Texas hunting, fishing licenses now available for 2021-22

The start of a new hunting season is right around the corner, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is reminding hunters and anglers that Texas hunting and fishing licenses (except the Year-from-Purchase All- Water Fishing Package) will expire at the end of August.

The Lampasas tennis teams are back at work for the fall season, and the players and head coach Kenneth Peiser are hoping to build on last year and even put a doubles team in the state competition. The Badgers have a new head cross country coach in Macey Siegert, who identified one of her goals for the season as having both the boys’ and girls’ teams reach the regional cross country meet. “Hopefully, we win some meets; that’s the goal,” Siegert said.
