The Badgers' mile relay team of Thomas Cavalieri, Luke Palacios, Ace Whitehead and Cameron Everts placed second at the Texas Relays with a time of 3:22 on Saturday, behind Dallas Carter. 

After taking a tied score into halftime, the Badgers allowed two Salado goals and fell to the heavily-favored Eagles 3-1 in the bi-district soccer playoffs on Thursday. Salado entered the game in Copperas Cove as the District 25-4A champion, while Lampasas was fourth in District 26-4A.


Brandon Pierino signed earlier this semester with Wayland Baptist University. The school, located in Plainview, competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Pierino was a three-year varsity football player
