The Badger football season officially came to an end after a tough loss to the Pleasanton Eagles in the bi-district round on Friday. The game was played at Antler Stadum in Kerrville. Lampasas fell 28-27 after

The Badgers traveled to Lago Vista on Saturday for their first regular-season game of the year. They lost the game because of one quarter where they struggled and were outscored 26-11. The final score was 59-54.

The Badgers will travel to Kerrville on Friday to take on the Pleasanton Eagles in the first round of the football playoffs. Lampasas head coach Troy Rogers said his team has a lot of respect for Pleasanton.

The Badgers are coming off a 19-5 season in which they lost in the second round of the basketball playoffs to the eventual state champion Argyle Eagles. Lampasas was 4-3 in district play a year ago and finished third in the district.
