The Lady Badgers hosted Stephenville on Tuesday and lost 65-42. The girls started well and were down by five points, 27-22, at the half after playing tough defense and not allowing the Honeybees to get much going.

Lady Badgers lose to Lake Belton on the road

Keona Cartwright played well for the Lady Badgers once again last Friday, as she came away with 38 saves in the soccer game. The Lampasas girls lost 7-0, but their effort never stopped, the coach said, and Cartwright was a main reason the score was not worse than it was.

Badgers come up short against Brownwood

Lampasas traveled to Brownwood on Friday for a battle of teams undefeated in district play. The 3-0 Badgers took on the 3-0 Lions for a chance to get sole possession of first place in the district.

Powerlifting teams compete at Burnet meet

Both the Badgers and Lady Badgers had good showings at the Burnet powerlifting meet on Thursday. “The Lampasas boys’ team was seventh-place overall with 17 points,” coach David Brister said.
